China CosIng is a Chinese cosmetic ingredient regulatory database developed by CIRS that allows you to quickly search whether a cosmetic ingredient or substance is listed in the latest version of the Inventory of Existing Cosmetic Ingredients in China (IECIC 2021 edition) and whether it is restricted or prohibited in cosmetic products placed on Chinese market. It also provides advanced features such as batch search and cosmetic formula evaluation assistant.

The following regulatory lists are included in China CosIng. You can search the database by CAS No., INCI name or Chinese name. CIRS regularly updates the database to keep it up to date.

Inventory of Existing Cosmetic Ingredients in China (IECIC 2021)
Any cosmetic ingredient which is not listed on IECIC will be regarded as a new cosmetic ingredient in China and must be notified or registered before they can be used in cosmetic products placed on Chinese market.

Inventory of Existing Toothpaste Ingredients in China (China Oral Care Industry Association)
The list, which comprises 1026 ingredients, was compiled by the China Oral Care Industry Association based on the toothpaste ingredients recorded by the Association in 2020 and 2022, and with reference to the Inventory of Existing Cosmetic Ingredients in China (2021 Edition).
